So here's a truth bomb. I am a girl Mom who hates pink!!!! Like seriously, this was the leading reason we kept our girls' genders a secret when I was preggers. I couldn't bear the pink tornado from well meaning loved ones.
Now as much as I have tried to stick with my beloved whites, greys, blacks and naturals, and Elsa even offered us a much appreciated respite from the pink storm, making blue for girls oh so delightful, but alas my oldest is having none of it. I have even caved to dusty rose, mauves, coppers and glitter. But no...pink ballerina princess is the current toddler BAE (Before anything else) request. Now her majesty's Birthday is still a full 6 months away, so hopefully this phase will pass.
But I found myself looking for ways to tackle this theme none the less...just to mentally prepare myself (lol)
I'm thinking a neutral white base, with loads of feathers, swans and tutu tuille (nod to swan lake) and then bringing in some pops of colour with flowers and garlands?? Fear.
